duet to it

Hello lovely people! It's Humpday! Instead of sharing some of my completed crafts I wanted to post a few pictures of things I will be attempting to create over the next couple of weeks. My mom and I are working to redecorate the bonus room. I have a nephew coming in September so we wanted to combine the aspects of a nursery with a play room, entertainment area & guest room. A "catch all" area if you will! By the crib I want to create a combination of the two white trees you see above. I love the simplicity of the upright one, but I think I want to bring a few branches out and over the crib like the other picture. Definitely sticking with white. It seems timeless and doesn't force any extra crazy color on the room. The wall color is agean teal with accents of amazon green, red, tan, various shades of blue, black & probably many more once we decide on pillow fabric and cornice board fabric for the windows. Once I have a clear pallet, I plan to incorporate all those colors in to the bird painting. It will be the main focus over the couch with two smaller canvases stacked on one side (less busy, more solid). I hope to have these two things done in a week or two, but we will see! I'll take pictures of the process and report back! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend filled with gobs of laughter!!!
