USA USA USA

CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES C'MON!

In the '91 minute Donavan scored to put the US on top of group C. I can't even explain to you what I felt at this moment. To paint some sort of a picture, it felt almost as good as the time I was standing in a parade in Madrid surrounded by flamboyant Spaniards on the 4th of July with my best friends, when Gregg popped open a bottle of champagne and all 7 of us sang, "I'm proud to be an American..." No one even noticed our existence, but the patriotism was something I'll remember forever. That is how I felt today... absolutely incredible.

It is also clear that my sister, Katie, is my good luck charm. She was sitting next to be during the two games the US has won (yes, I count our game against Slovenia as a victory). I'm going to make her sit next to me when we play Ghana, and she better like it.

So far so good. Two of my teams are in. Now I just need Spain to win and I'll be fully satisfied. Get excited for Humpday Craftday tomorrow. Lindsay has been at the beach, but that is no excuse to not have your work in on time, and she has a lot to show you.
