Humpday Craftday

Hello lovely people! I'm super excited about this new painting! Some of you are probably sick of my owls, but I still love them and probably always will so... sorry! I tried to be more free with my painting this time and I liked the way it turned out! Also, it was more enjoyable to paint (which I did while watching the bachelorette with mom! YEAH Chris L!) I purchased 1 tube of the nicer paint and Michael's hoping that I wouldn't be able to tell a difference, but dangit.... it was way better. Much thicker and easier to create texture with. Just gave the picture a little more depth. That sounded like I know what I'm talking about... I don't. I guess I will gradually buy nicer paint, but not in a single trip to the store. I'll build up over the next year... NYC paint is probably even more expensive, ugh.

The Inspiration:
A few weeks ago my family was eating over in the Milton area at a place called CANS (It was great and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a fun night of mexican food and a skinny marg:)) Anyway, just around the corner from www.canstaqueria.com/ was an adorable art studio. In the window was a painting of an owl. I snapped a shot of it and BAMM! inspiration! I'm hoping this one will make it on the wall of my future nephew's nursery;) Price will be here in two short months! AHHHHH! Erin and Ryan are so very excited as well as the rest of the Schwak/Walter family! Look at her totes precious belly!!!! More painting this week so hopefully I'll have more to show next Wednesday! Hope EVERYONE has a fantastic weekend! Much Love!

PS- I'm officially moving to NY August 1 and moving in with my dear friend Hartleigh! Not only is she a beauty, but she has a stunning heart and I feel truly blessed to experience the city with her by my side!
