North Carolina was filled with fun. Thanks to Linda Schwak, we ate some awesome turkey sandwiches around noon, stopped to get gas and a shower, opened our giant bag of hot tamales (our fave), saw the John Deere Truck Museum, sang our little hearts out and played 21 questions. Lindsay dominated me, her choice being Suri Cruz and mine being Cinderella.
Now we are in Virginia, the state that goes on forever. So far all we know is it's won the award for prettiest rest area. You'll see a picture of that below. Lindsay is doing a fantastic job as pilot. As copilot, I've been more than happy to pour her drinks, change the radio station, massage her arm and feed her cucumbers ;) No wonder that lovely man we met at the gas station thought we were together together...
Well, only one state sits in between us and today's final destination: Washington DC. We are ready for you, Virginia!
